Our Vision
Our vision is to reduce accidents and injures through better skills training, more experience, safer training with more dive theory, higher education (academic) and training with a back to basics philosophy and high-degree of self-reliance...
Our Passion
Our passion is simply to educate and train our students to be competent, safer, better informed divers with a sound understanding of diving Physics and Physiology, developing a positive attitude to marine conservation / human impact.
Our Mission
The ITDA mission is to educate, instruct and certify; Non-Divers, Sports divers, Technical divers, Occupational divers and Specialist divers in safer diving techniques and rescue skills¦ To higher International standards! And reducing accidents!
Instructor Mission
To ensure that all training operations are conducted by our Professionals safely to higher standards, efficiently and to the full benefit of our students, divers and members. All course levels include; Risk Assessments and Skills Evaluations.
Our main objective is producing "Safe, Competent" and "Highly Effective" Divers at every level...

Pass rate was the average pass rate at our open water course program level for new divers in 2017/18 period.
Growth this graph bar shows our average growth over the period worldwide, based on diver certification at all levels.
Update - 98% of ITDA training materials over the period were updated to 2019. This means that almost all of our training materials were updated in 2019/20... And we developed 8 new training programs. Including: Open Water Plus+ program adding specialist modules to the course program.
Delivery - Downloads. We offered more materials in 2020 as e-materials and had an average of 88% of our training materials downloaded...
How are ITDA different?
We Offer More... "More Theory, More Skills, More Training and More Experience"
We offer many very different options for our professionals to add value to ITDA certification programs. For example with our Introduction to scuba programs, student divers even before full certification can add "Entry Level", specialist introduction dives (L1) to their diving experience, like Gas Management and Buoyancy control, marine life interests (Fish ID) and / or navigation, plus "basic UW Photography and UW Video... From Entry Level./ Introduction to Scuba.
Fun dives under professional supervision, giving these student divers a wider range of experiences. Which will help them to better enjoy the Open Water training experience and marine interaction even more!

Higher Training
Standards,
We strongly advise our divers to take more experience dives, before diving unsupervised to develop the confidence to dive without supervision. Minimum is 10 Dives...
ITDA Believes in the value of Experience,
With additional dives required before progressing to higher levels for example our "Open Water Diver" upgrade to "Advanced Scuba Diver", requires a minimum of 10 Open Water Dives experience and begins with our rescue program as a specialist level.
