Snorkel Instructor

Pre-Qualification

You will need to complete our "Aquatic Rescue" and IHMP BLS with Oxygen First / AED Course Programs, and the ITDA Leadership in diving activities program. or be a certified "ITDA Dive Leader, a Dive Master or Dive Con" or other leadership level (any agency) with first-aid certifications may take this program.

And be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years freediving / snorkelling experience and be certified as an Advanced Snorkeller or Freediver. Prior to attending our unique Snorkelling and Freediving Instructor Course. 

ITDA Dive Leadership levels may directly attand the Freediving Instructor Program, and may also qualify as ITDA Snorkelling Instructors and IHMP First-Aid Instructors with CPR / Oxygen and AED.

 ITDA Open Water Instructors or above need only to complete the 2/3 day, upgrade program or workshop to qualify as Freediving and Snorkelling Instructors, with an ITDA Instructor Trainer Assessor, HQ Staff or ITDA Course Director.

What can ITDA Snorkel Instructors Train and Certify?

All ITDA Swimming and Snorkelling Programs, plus CPR First-Aid / Oxygen and AED Programs from IHMP Medical Training... When certified by IHMP/ITDA Instructor

ITDA Snorkel Instructor training is also available from ITDA HQ in Malaga, Spain from June 2018 along with Instructor Training and Trainer Assessor Programs and our Course Director-Assessor Programs. for more information please email us at: admin@diveitda.com

The ITDA are focused on higher quality training and have created a unique assessment and skills evaluation process based on our step system, building student knowledge and skills slowly (At a pace for the student!).

We also only issue certifications based on actual ability level, sometimes this means requiring more experience before full certifications are awarded.  98% of our programs are pass first time...
